OK, so so all of the straps i've had that are leather and fold through the holes for adjustment always seem to bunch up on me..
Does this happen to anyone else? If so, how do you get over this problem? I put a safety pin in there, but it bent and stopped working after like 3 uses..

HEEEELP | Go to a music store & take pictures of straps that are set up different from yours. Try those ways until you find one that works for you. 8-)

| | | | Adjustable guitar strap are made for the benefit of Mass Merchandisers and Mass Production. Why not get a custom made strap/sized strap just for you and your guitar?
If you are like most players, once you adjust the strap, you never touch it again, yet you have the baggage that comes with it - loops, slots, etc. |

| | | After trying all manner of straps i wound up using the plain old adjustable nylon straps. They don't spread the load on my shoulder like the big azzed leather things, but that's never been a problem for me. Straps digging into my neck, straps too "flocky" on the contact side to slide a bit if needed, straps with complicated adjustment protocols that violate the KISS principle, were all problematic so I wound up following the path of least resistance.
I admit I've been on something of a Satriani strap kick here lately. What can I say? it's the (almost) standard nylon strap I prefer, and it comes with some funky skull graphics. What's not to like?

HEEEELP | Why don't you post a photo of the problem area of the strap? I keep thinking there must be an error in the way it's set up.

| | | | Definitely 'threading' the strap incorrectly.
I wouldn't buy anything other than a leather strap. Nice and wide and solid... |
