Alright so I'm using Hennesy straplocks on my G&L Tribby, and after a slight mishap where I was handing my teacher my bass and the patch cord (which I wrap up and around my strap, like Claypool) was being stepped on by him, and put some serious force on the screw. Causing it to rip out party and remain loose whenever I try to screw it back in. Now I thought the solution would be a bigger screw but I can't seem to find one that fits the straplocks I'm using Do I just need to keep looking for a larger screw that will fit? Or get a new kind of straplock?

Can you elaborate on that? | The toothpicks fill the hole and give the screws something to dig into. Usually it works really well and holds nice and tight. That said, I did have one bass that just would not stay tight no matter how many times I used toothpicks and wood glue so I used super glue and it hasn't moved since.
