streamer refurb ...help needed!

Sign in to disble this ad
Just bought a rather tatty looking streamer LX from ebay which im hoping to do up a bit, i know the bass centre will sell me a new bridge but where can i get original warwick tuners from??, as the ones on it are very faded and worn. Reckon im gonna get it sprayed white eventually, just hope its playable!, ill keep you posted!
The body and neck look pretty worn i plan on changing all the hardware for shiny new stuff and adding a hipshot as per my other fours.
I may also change to barts or even an MM style bucker as per my FNA jazzman but the cosmetic stuff will take 1st priority.
Any help or suggestions would be great, especially on sourcing new tuners and knobs.

well, if bass centre can get you a new warwick bridge, i would suspect that they can get you new tuners as well. otherwise, i would recommend giving warwick (or whatever company handles their distributing the UK - in the US its Dana B. Goods) a call and see if they will sell you some new warwick tuners from their Parts Dept.

I won't change anything on my bass unless it quits working: oxidized bridges, faded looking hardware, I don't care

+1 on that!

That's just bass history. Can't wait till my new Warwick looks like that.
