Is the problem a loose nut slot or something else? Im not greatly concerned, its just annoying. I was thinking of weaving a strip of rubber or the like thru the strings up there and calling it a day.

You can probably make it better by Shortening the 90 Degree bend to about 1/4". Then hold downward pressure while wind the string.

I added a Hipshot 3 string retainer. The buzz is gone. It's a $12 part. Do it, and the problem is fixed.

I am going to take some out of the post hole and try to drop it down some hopefully that works. I should have left more to wind. I looked at the tuner posts and they looked awfully tall. Now I know!

Just add the retainer. It's a two minute job. |
