Had the same problem with my Ibanez 5-er when I installed halfrounds. I drilled the hole a bit bigger. I wouldn't leave it like it's showing in the pics.

You will need a drill bit for drilling thru metal. Std drill bits wont work. Since those are for wood, plastic and other relatively soft things. Sorry to hear that bridge cant take low B strings. Sure am even happier that I got a new 4string bass mfg made for accepting bead strings as well as reg 4 string sets with no mods to nut or bridge needed.

Take that bridge OFF the instrument to drill it. There's a very high potential for damaging the finish if you try to drill it in place!

And clamp the bridge in place. When a drill bit jams in a hole, it can swing an object like a bridge with enough force to hurt you.

X10!

Use a 5/32" diameter bit. That hole size should accept the oversize area on the ball end of a .130 string.

Lay the bit on top of the bridge and mark the length needed to barely make it through the base. Wrap many layers of masking tape around the bit at this point to create a stop that will help keep the bit from going too far in and scarring up the inside of the bridge. Don't use too much pressure while drilling for the same reason.
