Exclamation Stripped Truss Rod-Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe 24----2004

I completely stripped the nut in the truss rod of my bass. The action is screwed up now too. I am low on cash.

What can I do? AAAAAAHHHH!!

Take it to a local tech, they have a tool that will bur back past the stripped portion on the rod and can re thread it. I had it done on my Peavey TL6. You can buy the tool also and do it yourself, but if you are not sure of what you are doing, have a pro do it, its not the expensive.

you should be able to just back the nut all the way out, then get a new one.
