Stripping a MIJ Fender Jazz Bass...

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone stripped a made in Japan Fender Jazz Bass?

I'm curious if anyone has and what their basses' body looked like under the paint..was the wood two pieces?, more then two?, was it "ok" looking?

I'm about to take made in Japan Fender Jazz Bass from white down to natural finish-bare wood. I think its a sort of gamble of how it will look underneath, the wood could be ugly and or consisting of several non matching pieces

Any info appreciated or better photos
