sudden increase in static

Here's my setup:

Ibanez GSR200 > Apogee Duet > Guitar Rig > KRK RP5s

I was playing the other day and had a sudden increase in static. I hadn't changed any settings or moved substantially, so I'm not sure what went down. I connected my guitar to see if it might be the patch chord or interface, but everything sounds clean. This problem has persisted, so I'm wondering if there might be an easy fix that I could possibly take care of myself. I don't really want to toss any more money into fixing this thing, since I just paid for a setup and that already cost more than I paid for the bass. The amount of static isn't unbearable to play with, but I wouldn't want to record as it is right now. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.
