Sukop truss rod wrench??

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Sukop owners!

I have a 4 string fretted Sukop that I got secondhand. I love the bass, but it needs a neck adjustment. I don't have the original truss rod wrench that probably came with the bass, and I can't figure out what kind of wrench it needs. I have no idea how to contact Steve Sukop b/c his website info sucks pretty bad.

Anybody know how to turn the truss rod on a Sukop? TIA for any and all help.

Hopefully, you've found a way to adjust your Sukop Truss. Contacting Steve is easy. Just google Sukop and you'll have access to the site and from there you can send him or his company an e-mail. I've heard some bad reports about delays in contacting Sukop users. But I have personally had only great experiences with them every time I e-mailed or called. Good luck.

rod wrench

wrenches are all 1/4" hex key------------------------------------
i cut them off to fit in "belly button" hole-------------------------
new standard is 15 mm from front to back of wrench--------------
older models vary and are longer---------------------------------
recommend measuring w/ cut off q- tip---------------------------
reach in hole to just touch edge of rod nut-----------------------
NOT inserted in hex recess--------------------------------------
mark at biggest spot of belly button hole-------------------------
cut to that length-----------------------------------------------
easy w/ abrasive metal cut-off blade in table saw-----------------
hope that helps-------------------------------------------------
peace out----------steve---------------------------------------
