Swapping out Neck on Fender P Bass

Someone told me that a Jazz neck would not fit on a Precision bass. I have a 2005 Precision and want to swap out the neck for a Jazz neck...shouldn't that be an easy swap out?

Hah

This is true, but just one warning. The screw holes for a Japanese RI neck may not line up with the screw holes in an American or Mexican body.

Thanks for the replies...just had to confirm I wasn't crazy...I thought for sure it was no issue to change necks.
