Swapping Parts: Squier to Am Std JAzz

Will an American Std. Jazz neck fit on a Squier Jazz body?

Will Fender Am. Std PUPs fit into a Squier body? Just trying to see if it's really worth helping other TBers out by buying their parts.

I have the '62 Jazz Replacement PG on my VM-Jazz and it fit perfectly except for the VEE at the control panel. So - to me that means the p'up and the neck dimensions are the same as everything is just snug and tight and this also goes for my Deluxe Jazz - the same fitting and positioning - so I know it is the same in those dimensions too.

It doesn't necessarily mean the neck pocket dimensions are the same.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - I dunnow for absolute - but the external dimensions are pretty much exactly the sme and I would think with the exception of the depth of the pocket - it is a pretty good indicator though.
