switching saddles on a bridge

is it possible to switch the saddles on a bridge with saddles like the first picture to the individual ones (like the other picture)?

Yes, it is! However, the bridge plate may not have the 4 holes you will need for each saddle. I ran into this on my Fender Musicmaster and ended up getting a regular bridge...
