SX control plate screw issue
Just noticed I lost the bottom most screw in the control plate of my SX Jazz. It looks like the pick guard and plate were installed incorrectly, not leaving enough wood for the screw to bite in. What's the best way to correct this problem. I assume there is a way to glue in some wood to build up the area of the cavity for the screw to securely fasten. Is this the best/least invasive approach?

Stick some tooth picks or a wood dowel in there. Couple of drops of Elmer's Glue and you're good.

Tooth picks, or glue the screw in place and don't worry about it. You have others holding the plate on, so all you really need to do is fill the hole on the plate.
