SX replacement neck

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking of scrapping my SX jazz fretless 5 string neck for a fretted 5 string neck on the rondo website.

Theres nothing wrong with my fretless neck, I just give up trying to play a fretless bass.

Has anyone had any problems fitting the replacement SX neck to the body? Is it pre-drilled for an SX body?

Thanx

I haven't been in your exact position, but I recently ordered an SX neck (4 string "vintage" Jazz) for a project bass and there are no holes pre-drilled. I was, however, very pleased with the product's quality.

How did you mark the location of the holes to drill into the back of the neck?

Just fit your new neck to the body long drill bit drill thorough the body holes , then take apart & drill.
Or get your screws start the screw it will put a dint in the neck take apart & drill.
I found it easiy to mark & screw 2 scews diaganally the check if ok the do the other 2 if not adjust
