| testing for upper fingerboard hump

When checking neck relief, I've read here that it's best to depress the string(s) at the 1st and 13th frets... if that result shows less relief than the amount seen when depressing at the 1st and 24th frets, does that mean the fingerboard has a hump near the body, or is there a better way to test for this?
