Is there a place or site where one could obtain a full size template for an early Fender Precision Bass headstock (tele'ish style)? Too much time on my hands and getting
?creative?.

i doubt you could buy it, but you should try Stew-mac and Warmoth( i don't think the sell plans, but they oviusly have them so try contacting them) and if all else fails try Fender

Hello HELLonWheels187,
That is just what I'll have to do then. Although I might just eyeball it as the headstock won't conform to the exact shape anyway. Thanks for the assist!

Check to see if there are any Fender dealers in your area that have a '51 P Bass reissue or a Sting P Bass in stock. If so, trace an actual headstock.

Or, if you have a nice frontal view of one (magazine, catalog, etc.), you could scan it, resize it and print it out.

I could trace one of my Warmoth Tele-style headstocks for you if you want me too. Just PM me if you don't find it elsewhere.

Thank you Gentlemen,
I'll definately try those ideas, although just got it setup nice (for me) and do not necessarily wish to alter it right now.
Swingmaster, thanks for the offer, let me investigate it's looks.
