The first one I had done by a service tech in a music store. It was a graphite neck for a Musicman, 4 bolts. I was charged $60 for the labour plus the cost of the inserts and bolts. He did a good job.
I did several more myself and got equally good results but I have a drill press and have done a lot of similar type work. The only reason I had the graphite neck done by a pro was because it was graphite and very expensive and I didn't want to risk ruining the neck.
If you have it done have someone do it who has done it before and preferably has the proper inserts and bolts handy. You don't want to have to pay for him to go around to hardware stores to pick them up. There are many different types of inserts and you need the right ones for the job. As well, they have to be drilled exactly. Not much room for error.
I don't know what shop labour charges are in your area but I'd say around $75 should be okay.
