Two questions on the setup of my bass: I have a Carvin LB 75 with p/j pickups. I love the tone, but when i pluck the string normally, there is a very loud, toneless thump that is often much louder than the sweet tone itself. What is wrong? I thought it might be the pickup height or the low string tension. Second question is if there is anything I can do to raise the string tension without throwing the intonation out of whack. |
