I recently pulled out my Epiphone Thunderbird that had been sitting in it's case for about 4 months. Before I put it in away to gather dust (while I played my shiny new Spector) the bottom string had broken. I figured I'd just restring it the next time I played it. Unfortunately somewhere along the way the string saddle for the bottom string has fallen off and have been lost to the abyss. Can anyone tell me where I could find a replacement saddle? I've scoured the interwebs to no avail.
I may break down and email Epiphone/Gibson to see if I could acquire a replacement from them. Does anyone have any information that I couldn't find?? I'd really like to have a better bass to use as my backup than the rythm guitarist's POS P-bass copy that he borrowed from his cousin and never gave back. I'm not worried about the reliability of my Spector, but I always like to be completely overprepared (to the point that I often end up packing nearly double the amount of cables I need, as well as extra straps, strings, pocket sized tuners, a fairly large set of repair tools and other odds and ends that get packed in my band's gigging box.)
