Do you think these frets finally bit the dust?
Will new frets improve playability at this point?
Which gauge fretwire would you recommend? It's a semi-hollow short scale (if that matters).

Hmm... I've got another thread in a similar vein open at the moment, and my frets look like the one of the right of your picture. Although the one on the left looks a lot worse.

The guys over there have been saying that if it doesn't really affect the playability, leave it as-is... tough one though.
