Usually I do all my own setups and repairs but all my tools are in California, and I'm in Boston. I have all my playing exams on Wednesday next week and my bass has a broken nut. Basically the treble side broke off as I was stupidly trying to file it with the wrong tool. Does anyone have a recommandation for guys to do a quick set up in the boston area, preferably the fenway to allston areas?

PS I have already asked around and I was recommended Broken Neck but I heard they are pricier then most but I'm going to go talk to that shop to see. I also live next to the Boston Guitar Center which I've actually heard has a dedicated repair shop.

I don't know Broken Neck. I would never let the Boston GC service my bass. 8-)
