Question Tobias Growler 4 Bridge Replacement

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,

I have a Tobias Growler 4 I bought used a while back. It's one of the newer models without the switches, but it was a good deal and I've been pretty happy with it so far. The only issue that's really bugging is that the bridge had been replaced with a Schaller bridge which has less room for the saddles to move than the original and I'm not certain, but it feels like the string spacing may be off. I haven't been able to find any specs on what the correct spacing should be.

I'm considering replacing it with an ABM - 3704-b which seems to be the closest thing I can find to the original and has adjustable string spacing.

Has anyone had to replace a growler bridge before or have any recommendations?

Best,
-Dan
