Tobias - ( Korean Toby ) Tone Knob- stripped!

Hello,

I have an older Korean Toby...One of the knob's duel nuts is stripped ..I tried replacing it with fender sized knobs which do not fit over the pole. What do I do now?

I guess the best question is .. Are MTD or Tobias using similar or the same hardware as the old Korean made Toby's....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nuts sizes are standard, Just go to a hardware store with your stripped nut and try to find a replacement.

While we're on the subject, anyone know a good replacement bridge that will fit (height and width) a Toby Pro?

It's actually the threads with in the knob itself that are in bad shape! so I guess it not really a nut or a screw.. I could re-tap it with a larger sized screw hole...but I've never been successful with a tap and die kit!
