Hi guys,
Whom do you prefer to do your fret levels: the Twelfth Fret or Capsule Music? One place is cheaper than the other however that doesn't mean a thing. I need a jazz levelled and dressed and was wondering who would do a better job. Any and all help is mucho appreciated.
Thanks so much.
p.s. is there anybody else you would recommend or should I send it to the states and have it Plek'd? |

They always did very good work for me. Usually I could handle fret levelling myself but a couple times turned it over to them.
I haven't played a bass that's been Plek'd so I don't know if it's worth the cost. |

| | | | Thanks 62bass,
The 12th fret guy seemed to know what he was talking about, at least over the phone. The guy at Capsule seemed a little unsure of himself. Anyone else have any experience with repair shops in and around southwestern ontario? |

I almost NEVER see a decent Plek job. I'm sure it can be done, but it's a TOOL like any other, and does not guarantee decent results. |

For $150,000 you can get yourself two nice brand new 3-axis HAAS CNC mills, that's enough to start your own machine shop. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
