Tremelo on a Stingray?

Would putting a Kahler tremelo on a Stingray really be sacreligious? If so, why? Also, what kind of work would need to be done?

Try it on a cheaper bass. Trems are ok, got a bass in my closet with one.

They are great for not staying tune.

A stingray is to nice for one.

Maybe a fretless stingray would be ok so you could use wide vibrato to get your intonation back.

If you must have a bass with a wank bar on it, I agree with Gruff - put it on a cheap bass, maybe an OLP. But not a real Stingray. They are way too nice to aggressively mod like that. But if you did it anyway, get a PRO INSTALL, PLEASE!

They're fun, but you'll never use it as much as you think you will now. I had a Stingray and wanted a Wank bar, so I bought a BC Rich with one. Then I realized it didn't get much use, so I sold the BCR.
