Truss rod

I just got this fender avri 75 jazz and the truss rod is sticking out a bit at the head. See the picture. The bass plays and sounds great, I am just scared this is some issue that will come about long term. Insight?

That is the Bullet truss rod known in 70's Fenders...it is normal.

You are right. But it seems that there are some stupid answers. Not that yours is one of them. Just saying...
