Truss rod adjustment on p-bass

Sign in to disble this ad
My p-bass is buzzing when the upper frets are played. There is quite a bit of releif. Should I turn the truss rod a 1/4 turn clockwise? There is no buzzing anywhere else.

Raising the action would indeed get rid of the buzzing, but I believe if I straiten out my neck, the buzzing will go away, and I can have the luxury of low action.

If it helps any, the buzzing is against the last few frets.
