Stewmac should be able to help you out.

I ordered a 1/4 inch trussrod wrench for my '86 Guild and they had it to me in a matter of days.

Yep, StewMac is one option.
They also sell a 7pc "Power-T" set (Hex keys with ball ends) that is a standard/metric mix. It includes: 2.5mm, 3/32, 3mm, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16 & 5mm. This set might be cost effective, if you own multiple Basses. Item #69807

Any hardware store should have them. Ordering one from StewMac would cost more for shipping than a whole set would cost OTC.
