Truss Rod Cover Screws

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all.

I have a 2005 Ibanez SR-500 and I need to replace the tiny screws that hold on the truss rod cover. I've checked the Ibanez site and they have the physical cover but not the screws. I've also checked hobby stores and Lowes and Home Depot.

Does anyone know where I can find these screws?

I'd reccomend Ace Hardware.

They have a much larger nut/bolt/festener selection that Home Depot or Lowes.

They should have what your looking for.

Call the Ibanez USA warehouse in Bensalem, PA. Ask for Al Crawford { The Head of Quality Control}. Now you will have to fight a bit but they will send them to you. State that the screws are part of the basses hardware and they stripped on you. {They do strip rather easy} While your at it tell them you need battery compartment screws too and hold them for spares. They do set-ups at that facility and have plenty of those screws on hand. Don't let them B.S. you!
