Tuner Bushings for Jazz Bass + Hipshot?

Sign in to disble this ad
So, here's the deal... I had previously purchased a set of 5 string Hipshot tuners (not sure about the size or the post, but its MUCH smaller than the usual Jazz bass posts.

I got a replacement neck lined up for my jazz, and lo and beHold... there's enough room in those pegholes to fit 2 tuners(exagerating, of course)... The neck came without bushings.

So... there are these large washers with the hipshot kit, but I figure Ill also need the bushings as the pole will be floating in emptyness... while researching, I found some "Adaptor" Bushings, though I think they were for guitar... does anyone know if these are also made for bass? anyone care to point me in the right direction or, alternatively, give me a build tip to help make it a closer fit.

Thanks!
