Tuner bushings raising up on Ric

Is there a safe and best way to fix this? Will I need to take the tuners off to get them to go back down? I don't want to dent the headstock or anything, so I was just wondering if there is a safe way to do this.

The safest way to do this is to press them in with a clamp.

1. Remove the tuner.
2. Place hard wood blocks on the bushing and the back of the headstock.
3. Apply C clamp (or other suitable) and press flush with hole.
4. Disassemble rig.
5. Replace tuner.

Of course, try pressing the bushing back in with your thumbs first.

I tried pushing them back in with my thumbs but I didn't take the strings or tuners off. I just didn't want to dent the headstock by using pliers or something either. Thanks.
