Tuner posts loose, wrong bushings?

I just did a little setup on my '62 RE Precision and decided to put an older, nicer looking set of tuners on there and when I took the strings off I noticed the tuner posts are fairly loose when no pressure is applied, not just moving a bit like I would except. The tuning gear and the threaded piece are tight however, no issues there. Should I worry this will affect tuning stability? If not, can anyone tell me how much 'play' within the bushings is acceptable? Thanks!
