tuner replacement for a KSD bass

I can't help myself,I'm still messing with my KSD bass. Now that I have the trussrod repaired I noticed a slight rattle on the not B on my D string. Turns out that the tuner had too much play in the shaft.I switched it out with the low B string tuner and that seems to have solved the problem.Thank god, because at first i thought it was the trussrod again!
Anyway, I am thinking about replacing the tuners. After that, the only thing original on this bass will be the strap holders.
I have looked at Hipshots and gotohs and schallers.I don't know if there is a significant difference between them quality wise.
My question is:Has anybody here replaced the tuners on the KSD proto jazz 5?
Which ones are a correct fit for the KSD without modification and which ones offer the 4 +1 with the G string reversed?
I checked on several sites but I seem to only be able to find 4 string sets.
