I would like to upgrade the tuners on my squier P-bass with some schaller ones. Does anyone have a link to schaller's website, and/or advice or knowledge on changing them.
Many thanks.

Ahh dammit. The ones on my squier are 10mm diameter and the schallers are 14mm dia. How would one go about installing a larger diameter shaft machinehead?

Well..you could use a reamer and open up the tuner holes, OR, consider Gotoh or some other brand that has 10mm option.

I want the 14mm as the 10mm looked fine and sturdy enough until my Fender jazz showed up on my wall next to it. All of a sudden, what looked meaty, looks weedy. What is a reamer as I have heard of one before?

Note that the bigger tuners will affect neck balance.
