Tuning a 5 string bass E A D G C instead of the low B? do I need to set up?

Hello
So I have been playing a 4 string fretless warwick for a while but it got stolen a couple of days ago. I need to buy a new bass and dont plan to get another warwick because its just not the same. Im looking into an MTD kingston Z bass but im not sure if I should get the 5 string or 6 string version. I dont ever use a low B and I do like to chord and solo so the high C would be good for me.
I want to know if I need to have the nuts on the bass redone so that they fit with the thinner strings. Are there any other set ups that I would have to do to the bass? or can i just go ahead and buy a 6 strng set and put the E A D G C on the 5 string bass?
