Tuning down

Hey everyone.
I hate asking a dumb question. I am fairly new to playing the bass. I just bought the book Black Sabbath We sold Our sold for Rock 'N' Roll. On the Song Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. It says to tune down 1 whole step. Is that from stardard tuning.

so would it be F#-Gb
C#-Db
G#-Ab
D#-Eb

No, a whole step down would be DGCF from lowest to highest on a 4 string bass.
