tuning up...

Sign in to disble this ad
ok, i had a look at the setup sticky and couldnt find anything specific on this...

1)i had my bass is drop c for a week, when i tuned it up, it crackled a little bit (the sound of tightening strings) im just checking to make sure its normal?

2) on my 5 string if i wanted to tune up to CFGeA would i have to adjust to the trust rod due to the tension? ( same point relates to down tuning to)

thank you for any help

hi joshua thanks again for your support!

1)yer it stays in tune fine and still plays fine, maybe it was just the bass going back up to what its used to?

2)is the relief using the credit card while hold down the 1st and 12th fret?

so 2 businesscards, while holding down the first fret and the last fret, is that past the fret or before it? ( if that makes sense?)

some1 to help must also be needed i presume?

cheers again!
