Tuning... Upwards?

I haven't been back to TB in a while, but I have a question! I recently found the delicious song "Molten Universe" by Kyuss, it's in a dropped C tuning (c/f/Bb/Eb) that is kind of odd... but sounds great. Hell, the whole Kyuss album "Blues for the Red Sun" is fantastic

The thing is... I play a 5 string! No problem right? I can play the tune as written in BEADG but it's much more awkward in terms of fingering due to a lack of open notes. So I have tuned the strings UP to the C tuning. Is this completely backward? Is it going to mess with my neck/tension? It sounds good to me, and I like the increased tightness on what was the B string.

E----C
A----G
D----C

Tuning the B up to C will be good, although it may lose something when tuned back down. The E will probably be fine too, but the other strings, especially D, might be more tense than you want them. A neck relief adjustment will probably be in order if you leave it like that. I haven't looked at this tune closely, but I think I would probably just play it in standard tuning. Doesn't seem too bad.
