Hope is the right place for this!
I built a whamola and strung it with an e string, it was a .105. Anyway came back from gigging all weekend and it had snapped at the machinehead.
It was built to a standard bass scale not to an upright's scale.
So what i'm wondering is what string should be used(i.e E - A - D - G) and what should i tune it to?
