Two-piece bridge: what can fit the bill?

Sign in to disble this ad
As some of you who lurk the Luthier's corner may have noticed, I've recently considered restoring an aged, 70s Eko bass for kicks. Why? Because it's unlike anything I have now, and I get it for free:

(now in clickety form, too!)

Anyway, unless I got my bass parts mixed up - this is a two-part bridge. Does anyone know of a brand that would replace it easily? Since the bass isn't at my place yet, I'll have to ask a friend who's the current owner to measure the exact width of each bridge part.

Any clues?

You, sir, are awesome. That might be exactly that, I just have to remeasure the post spacing and this might be it.

Much obliged.

Aaaand I think this is where the project hits a snag. The bridge bolt spacing is 6.9cm, the tailpiece bolt spacing is ~7.5cm. This is going to need either heavy modding or a new bridge altogether.
