Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys.

I wonder that kinda of action would suits me for slap/aggressive fingerstyle type for me lakland skyline 55-02. As for low actions, sometimes i really hate the buzz when i turn aggressive in fingerstyle. any suggestions? low-medium actions?

Me too.

Also, I started experimenting with tap. How does that effect things?

in a nutshell, you can play with action as low as your technique and preference will allow...some of us can live with more fret buzz than others

i've recently shimmed the neck on my fretted jazz to get an ultra-low action similar to my Roscoe...i liked higher action until i played the LG, but i've learned to control my fingering enough that really low action works for me fingerstyle and slap quite well
