Just picked up a Douglas 6 string. I'm about to adjust the neck... and well... never saw 2 trussrods under the cover before. What do I do with these things? Do I adjust this the same as I would any other bass, X2. Help quickly please as I want to do this NOW!

Adjust both of them. they each control the relief of each side of the neck.

adjust both evenly if you can to aviod twisting the neck.
At least that is what I was always told when I had a ric. Thats what I always did and had no problems.

my luthier friend just made a dual truss rod bass. he said it was to adjust the neck properly since there's different tension on the bass and treble side. you can adjust just one or both i guess. depending on your situation.

but if it's just regular adjusting, i guess listen to what the others said.

and contrary to what most people think, the G string has a higher tension than E or low B, so it may need more tweaking on the treble side
