Musicmaster bridge on my first modified Bronco.
This bridge is a string-through design. I drilled the upright part of the bridge for top loading as I use LaBella flatwound strings. LaBella warns against using flatwounds in string-through bridges; at $45.00 a set, delivered, I'm not willing to ignore their advice. Anyway, drilling the bridge results in a slight bend to the left of the string paths after passing over the saddles. This offends my sense of design but it works without any problems and intonates more easily than a two-saddle bridge. I've since modified three more Broncos but I have not bothered with swapping bridges. I'm able to set the intonation properly on the stock bridge and, besides, I never play above the 12th fret anyway. Oh, yeah, the Musicmaster bridge has a different pattern for the mounting screws so it is not a drop-in replacement.
At some point - my four Broncos are in almost constant rotation for upgrading - I may try Hipshot's Vintage bridge:

The options box offers a narrow spacing that would be just right.
