Hey guys.
I'm looking to upgrade my Ibanez BTB200 to tide me over until I can pull together enough money for a MusicMan *drools*. Basically I've been having issues with the bridge (action does not stay constant, buzz etc.) and I've snapped several D strings at the tuning post, so I'm also looking for a new set of tuning machines.
So far I've been steering towards the Gotoh tuners, and the Hipshot individual bridge thingies (triple-lock down or something). So basically I'm looking for the best bridge and set of tuners for about $300-400 (AU) that will fit my bass.
Also, should I get a professional to set these up if I get them, or would I be able to do it myself?
