Using the right fret wire for an old Precision Bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all - I am wondering if anyone has a source for specifications for fret wire? I have a 59 Precision bass (serial # 36073) and many years ago it was refretted with incorrect frets. I am getting ready to have it redone but want to ensure that the luthier uses the right fret wire. Does anyone know where I can find information on the specifications/dimensions for the frets for this bass?

Thanks, all...

Ben
