Volume pot (on the inside) of the bridge pup was not glued down to the place so it was moving when I turned it,and finally today one of the cables broke down.No sound was coming of it of course.
First I glued it to the place then I revired the cable, now I can get the sound, but its locked at the full volume and it doesn't work.
Question is did I revire it wrongly,is there a short circuit,or by gluing it did I mess whole the pot?
Thakns a lot!

About glueing,I didn't know that,I need to change the whole pot it seems but it doesn't worth that really.

There is one way you can check the pot, unsolder the wires and check the resistance (with an ohmmeter) between the center prong with one of the outer prongs, as you turn the shaft it should read zero at one end of the rotation and the pot's full value at the other, there should be a variation as you turn the pot... |

I'll cut it solder it again.I hope ıts a short, otherwise its a real pain for me to buy a new one and replace it.

hex nut with a washer is all you need to secure that properly.
That 'pot' is special, as in variable resister special, so also make sure your soldering in done correctly..use some electronic soldering flux too..makes the heat transference much quicker
and even. When you are done, clean up the solder connections with some denatured
alcohol to remove excess flux residue.

I soldered the wire again and its working now.It was a short circuit.Lesson learned, thaks again!
