Angry waiting for repair woes

Sign in to disble this ad
so i turned in my amp at music shop in michigan since i had been having problems. they sent it in the next 2-3 days. i called a week later and they said they hadn't heard anything. 2 more weeks went by i had been calling and sending e-mails still no word. finally a break through, the shop was waiting on parts.....(though still no estimate), and that they would come in any day now. that was 3-4 weeks ago. i sent e-mails but heard no other than,"when we hear something, we will tell you". So here i am playing a damn crazy old fender bass ampm that pushes a whopping 15watts at a band practice with 2 100 guitar rigs drums and a singer. I did a little research and found most shops return the finished amp within 7-10 days. now as we ride on to the third month of the repair. what do i do to pass the time? has any such situation happened to you? what should i do about it?
damn i miss my head and my cabinet is crying.
