Warmoth neck order Fender ADV content

Sign in to disble this ad
Just pulled the trigger on a Warmoth Deluxe 5 22 fret maple board neck from the showcase over the weekend.
74 mm heel width on the neck, the Fender body has a 73 mm width so I figure I'll sand .5 mm off the neck equally on both sides so I can keep the Fender body spec standard for resale value.

Any comments? Anyone feel the need to do any more sanding on the back of the neck to profile it a little thinner front to back?

Also selected the vintage size frets over the 6150 med jumbo, without having played a bass with smaller frets in years. I read here on TB that they feel great and are easy to play on. Comments?
