Warwick Just a Nut III Brass

Hi,

Thank you all for helping me with my Warwick's body balance problem previously.

Since I am planning to do some modification anyway, I am thinking if anyone have experience with the normal Warwick Just a Nut III (the black graphtech-like one), and Warwick Just a Nut III Brass.

I heard that Brass improves sustain,
but more sustain isn't really what I'm looking for since I am satisfied with my Warwick's current sustain.

What is a major tonal difference between the black JAN3 and brass JAN3?

Thank you.

Fretted notes and open notes will sound much more similar.

So it only makes a difference in open note?

Just curious, what exactly is the black JAN3 made out of?
