Question Warwick (or other?) Straplocks

Sign in to disble this ad
This is my first thread, so I'm sorry if I do something wrong dont get mad, just kindly correct me.

But anyways! In may i got a Warwick Corvette $$ (I think manufactured in '09) But it came with straplocks, and i really liked how they worked, looked etc. The issue is my old band played a show, and instead of packing up our gear then moving it off-stage, the venue had us move everything off and then pack up, so I ended up forgetting to pack both my cable and strap/straplocks. I replaced the strap and cable no problem, but the locks are only available through Warwick from germany... €20 for them, and €60 for the only shipping... Not something I'm totally excited about buying, but my bass falls off at least 3 times every song (I play hardcore and I move. ALOT lol)

So I guess the question is does anyone know where I could get a new set (In America, or for less that €80), or what would be a good lock anyone else could recommend? Preferably ones that don't rattle though, I know they probably work well, but i just cant stand it.

Dunlop straplocks will fit into the posts on the Warwick. I use Dunlop straplocks with the stock Warwick buttons and I've never had a problem. You can probably find the the strap end buttons on eBay.
